Snow and Family Christmas Party

This past week we had the first (and only?) snow of the season and the kids loved it. I love that it comes for a day or two then leaves.

Sunday was our Annual Christmas Party. I love having my family so close and being able to get together as often as we do. This year's party didn't disappoint. We had tons of food, fun games, Santa, and the nativity play. We've been doing the nativity since I was little and I love that we still do it, but now with our kids. The kids did a great job, and Baby Jesus was only a little fussy:)

The latest:Sweet little Beckham Boy. I love this kid so much. I love that he's more aware of what's going on around him and that he's starting to be a real person. He's definately the hardest baby I've had, but so much fun. Jada and Caleb love him to pieces.
Beckham had his four month dr. appt last week (4 months already???). He's weighing in at a healthy 14 lbs 4 oz, which is surprising since he spits up like crazy. Dr. Kaddu gave me some samples of heavy formula made with rice starch that has been helping a ton, but he doesn't love it, so we're working on it.
On our trip for the 3A state football game. We were just hanging out in the car in the freezing Salt Lake City weather. The game was a heartbreaker, and the same day up and back trip was pretty brutal, but we still had a good time.
Having a conversation with Grandma Jepson. He loves to talk and smile at everyone! I'm hoping his hair comes in soon, but it's not looking that way. What a cute little baldy.
Sydney, Jada, and Reagan singing along with the High School Musical Wii game (and dressed appropriately).Caleb and Gavin in the backyard at Gavin's new (awesome) house.
Caleb and Chet at the Turkey Bowl. Casey's smart and chooses to ref the game instead of play. Lucky for all those other guys!

Ballerina Caleb and his proud daddy!

Ridiculous

Since I've passed my 6 week mark (Beckham is actually 7 weeks) I decided to take up running again. I've been quite excited. My sisters are training for the St. George Marathon and it's been painful watching them and hearing them talk about running all the time and not being able to do anything. So, this week was my week to start. Let's review. Monday: Beckham lets me sleep about four hours (yay!) so 7:30 wasn't too bad to get out the door. Okay, this was a bad day to start up. The wind was yucky, and seemed to be in my face with every turn. Tuesday: could hardly walk and wanted to cry with the pain. Wednesday: walking (and moving) was surprisingly more painful than the day before. Thursday: 2nd attempt at my three mile run. Things went much better and I felt good all day. Friday: 3rd attempt at the three miles. Beckham and I had a pretty rough night, so I wasn't feeling too much energy. At two and a half miles I started dry heaving. Seriously??? Two miles and I'm fake throwing up on the side of the road? This is ridiculous.

Best Thing Ever

This totally made my day today and I've watched it approx. 17 times. Love it! You will too:)
P.S. It works better if you don't view it full screen.

fun times with the cousins

My sisters and their kids are in town for a while and the kids have been having a blast together. Things get pretty crazy with everyone together. Examples:

Caleb & Reagan after playing in the irrigation water on Grandpa's farm.

Poor Caleb. He has been outnumbered by girls for so long. We're glad Gavin's around to help him be more of a boy. Hopefully the damage can be undone:)

Silly kids.

Gavin brought his trampoline from Texas and it's been a huge hit. Any bets who gets injured first?
Baby Paige lovin life. She's not quite old enough yet to really play with the kids, but when she is, watch out!

Tatum, Tater-bug, Tug, this girl has a lot of nicknames. She's a little angel.

They've been told maybe a million times not to get into Aunt Breanne's makeup. See how well they listen?

Lots of Pictures

I know I've turned into an infrequent blogger. In my defense 1) I have a newborn and 2) I don't have the internet. So, to catch up on the past few weeks, here are some pictures of my cute family (in random order):

Beckham (on the right) and my cousin Nate's little boy Kade. Future best buds.

Beckham at four weeks.

Cute little family. Beckham has Jada's shape of eyes and Caleb's color. Pretty crazy.

Casey went to Lake Powell for a week and totally ate this kid up when he got home. That was a LONG week. I told him he's never allowed to leave again.

He missed his kids. We miss the mustache! (Yes, he did win the bet:)

Here's one last look at it. Goodbye mustache!

Jada's first day of preschool. She's loving her new school and teacher.

Beckham and Grandma Jepson. She comes over and holds him for hours.

What a good big brother, holding the binkie in Beckham's mouth. Jada and Caleb are so helpful with the baby, I love it.

Beckham Week #1

We've had such a great week since Beckham was born. What an angel he is! I love him to pieces. I thought I'd have a really hard time adjusting to having a newborn again, but it has been great. My week of recovery, however, has not been the best. C-section #2 has been a much harder recovery than #1 was. I'm just starting to feel like myself again, and each day is ten times better than the day before. This sweet little angel makes it totally worth it, though.

He sleeps so well on my bed, not so much in his own.

Casey loves his little boy.

After getting his numbing shots for his circumcision. His look says it all.

Caleb loves having the baby around, but he isn't really loving not being the baby anymore.

Jada is a little mommy and takes such good care of him. She loves to hold him and sing to him.
