My Silly Kids

My kids are really into playing jokes lately, Jada especially. They get a kick out of saying something is lost or missing, while hiding it behind their backs. Today Caleb comes to me all serious and says,

"Mommy, I went potty in my pants."

"What???"

"I went potty in my pants."

He's looking up at me with the most worried eyes, like he knows he's in big trouble. So, I feel his pants; dry. I pull them down and feel his underwear; dry.

"Caleb, are you teasing me?"

At this, he throws his head back and laughs and laughs. What? This kid is playing this kind of joke? That worries me.

In other cute things my kids do:

Jada is usually the one who says the prayer at meals. She says it, and Caleb echoes, and they have this prayer down. It's always the same:

"Heavenly Father, bless the food, bless we can do what we want to, bless we can have a sweet night, bless Daddy and the missionaries, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen."

Well, Jada has decided to teach Caleb how to say it on his own, so now she stands by his chair and whispers it in his ear. How cute are they?

Random Post

Jada and her wonderful, brilliant, amazing surgeon, Dr. Nath. I love this man. He's incredible. Not only is he a genious, he genuinely cares about his patients, who, by the way, are all over the world. He travels to different cities and countries to do FREE clinics for patients or potential patients who need his help. He realizes the hardship it is having a brachial plexus injury and having so little options to help, and he does all he can. After Jada's second surgery, he sent us a refund check for $3,000 because he said he had been paid enough through us and our insurance. Who does that? Have I mentioned how much I love him?

He came to do a free clinic in Vegas on Wednesday and we went down to meet with him. He gave us some great news; he doesn't see any future surgeries for Jada! Meaning for the first time in four years, we won't be planning an expensive trip to Houston in the summer for another surgery! Yay!

Sydney and Reagan, our cousins in Japan, sent all this adorable stuff to Jada and Caleb, mostly for Jada's birthday, but they threw a couple things in for Caleb as well. Isn't it just adorable?

Happy Birthday to Jada!

Friday we celebrated Jada's fourth birthday. What a crazy and exhausting day! She had a party with nine other four-year-old guests and it was crazy, but lots of fun. Here are some pictures of my beautiful birthday girl.

Waiting for her present.

Her new bike, already too small. She doesn't seem to mind.
